About Angela Valderrama
I’m Angela Valderrama, a dedicated real estate agent based in the vibrant Tampa Bay area. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, I moved to Tampa when I was 11 years old, quickly adapting to a new culture and learning English. At a young age, I became my parents’ translator, helping them navigate their business and interact with clients. That experience taught me the value of connection and advocacy—skills I now apply to my real estate career.
While working for a home stager at 15, I began to develop an interest in real estate. However, it was when my family and I went through the process of buying our first home in the U.S. that I truly knew this was a career I wanted to pursue. We faced several hurdles, including losing two properties that were under contract, but those challenges only made us more determined. When we finally achieved homeownership, it was an incredibly gratifying moment. This experience inspired me to help others navigate the complexities of real estate and achieve the same sense of accomplishment through homeownership.
With a background in sales and customer service, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients and providing tailored solutions for their unique needs. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I’m passionate about helping families find their dream homes and build long-term wealth through real estate. I firmly believe that the United States—and Florida, in particular—is the land of opportunity, a place where anyone can grow, learn, and build wealth.
Outside of real estate, I am a big foodie who loves trying new restaurants and exploring different areas of my city. I enjoy playing pickleball, hitting the gym, jamming out in my car, and spending time at the beach. Tampa’s Riverwalk is one of my favorite places to walk, and I love exploring different parts of the city. I am surrounded by an amazing family, a supportive boyfriend, and a network of inspiring women in sales. I’m always eager to learn and grow, and most importantly, I love connecting with people. It’s one of my favorite things to do!
